Annual celebrations, festivals and special events are popular in Jamaica. Numerous food, music, cultural and artistic events are staged across the length and breath of the island. Some of our most popular events include:
Jazz and Blues Festival held in Montego Bay, in January; Carnival in Jamaica held mainly in Kingston, just after Easter; Reggae Sumfest held in Montego Bay in July; Jamaica Independence and Festival Celebrations, held island wide in August; Portland Jerk Festival held in July and the Reggae Marathon held in Negril in December.
